Your Role: Commercial Supply Chain Associate for Iberia

As the Commercial Supply Chain Associate for Iberia, you will report to the Commercial Supply Chain Leader. This key position is responsible for delivering superior customer value and enabling Elanco to achieve its business objectives through effective supply chain management.

Your Responsibilities:

  • Lead the affiliate S&OP process to align demand management, product supply, and inventory levels.
  • Manage demand and replenishment processes for the affiliate, including inbound supply chain from supplier to affiliate, freight, customs clearance, and Purchase Orders. Support the organization as required by managing the launch of new products, as well as managing changes due to regulatory / legal / manufacturing reasons.
  • Optimize inventory health, minimize exposures, and perform inventory management tasks such as reconciliation and cycle counts.
  • Provide directions to 3PLs, freight brokers, and freight forwarders, partnering with Intercompany Services for timely product supply.
  • Build and maintain effective cross-functional relationships with Local Business Leaders, Global Supply Chain, Manufacturing, Regulatory, Quality, and Finance.

What You Need to Succeed (minimum qualifications):

  • Leadership, excellent communication skills, business acumen, attention to detail, data analytics and problem-solving, and strong interpersonal skills
  • University Degree/Diploma in Business Administration, Logistics, Supply Chain or a Commercial discipline (alternatively, CPIM certified or in progress) or applicable experience.
  • A record of success in supply chain management and demonstrable ability to lead in a matrix organization.
  • Fluent in Spanish and English, Portuguese would also be welcome

What will give you a competitive edge (preferred qualifications):

  • Experience in manufacturing and / or production planning.
  • Knowledge and detailed understanding of SAP, especially around Demand and Replenishment processes.
