What you’ll do
The Analyst, Process & System Support role is to develop and support Promo Operations and Analytics POST & Robson applications and related processes to enable day to day decision making and support the teams in delivering incremental POS and profit.
The Analyst, Process & System Support works closely with Product Owner, Business Analysts, Data Specialists and Sr. Consultants to provide technical expertise, data analysis and reporting and coordination on essential Marketing Promotions Operations processes.
In this role you are expected to be striving for continuous accumulation of knowledge both on technical front and business processes which facilitate the rapid deployment and enhancement of sales/profit driving and cost reducing applications.
Act as subject matter expert across various systems by actively pursuing knowledge and experience with Canadian Tire Retail, SportChek and Mark’s marketing processes and systems
Support promo systems, including POST, Robson, and Promo upload process
Represent the business users in agile project ceremonies (daily stand ups, backlog grooming)
Assist in triaging and troubleshooting promotional issues
Work with users to understand, define and document business and technical needs and translate such needs into user's requirements.
Identify discrepancies across multiple business systems, assist in decommissioning legacy systems.
What you bring
Post-secondary education in computer science, business and/or engineering
2+ years Business Analysis experience
Familiar with Agile delivery, CI/CD and SLDC concepts
Knowledge of marketing business processes and/or understanding of retail principles
Experience in change management, process analysis and user acceptance testing (UAT).
Ability to prioritize and cope with competing and changing objectives in support of long-term goals while maintaining stakeholder expectations
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
Strong verbal and communication skills
Ability to facilitate formal and informal communications across all levels of stakeholders including translation of technical concepts into business language and vice versa
Proven ability to work both at a conceptual and highly detailed level
Organized and result driven
Skilled at working with databases using SQL
Existing programming skills or commitment and ability to learn a programming language.
Microsoft Office skills (MS-Access, MS-Excel), VBA scripting an asset
