Mō te tūranga | About the Role

As an Analyst – IT Service Assurance, you will centralise and uplift reporting and analytics across Technology Service Operations, supporting practices like Major Incident, Problem, Change, Release, Disaster Recovery and Availability Management. This foundational role ensures consistent reporting, trend analysis and supports governance, providing valuable insights to help teams and leaders make confident decisions.

Ko tō mahi | What you’ll do

  • Maintain and evolve core reporting artefacts, including daily reports, weekly scorecards and monthly or quarterly dashboards.

  • Enable visibility across intertwined practices such as change, release, continuity, incident and availability.

  • Support scalable assurance through data driven insights, proactive governance and modern ITSM practices.

  • Contribute to the evolution of operational intelligence by leveraging AI analytics and DevOps aligned tooling.

  • Provide admin and governance support.

  • Gain hands on exposure across functions by providing backfill and support when required.

  • Manage documentation and dashboards effectively.

  • Explore data trends and support insights.

  • Collaborate seamlessly with team members and provide backfill as needed.

  • Absorb operational practices quickly and assist in high pressure governance activities.

  • Adapt to dynamic tasks in evolving ITSM environments.

Nā tāu rourou | What will you bring

  • Tertiary or bachelor’s qualification in IT or related field, entry level ITIL certification preferred.

  • One to two years in IT support or operations (or relevant internships), with eagerness for career progression.

  • Basic skills in Excel, dashboards (Power BI basics) and service management tools.

  • Strong organisational abilities, attention to detail and a learning mindset.

  • Team oriented with empathy for operational pressures and adaptability to change.

  • Interest in modern elements like AI analytics and scaled practices.

  • Analytical curiosity and learning agility.

  • Empathetic engagement and adaptability.
