The Investment Analyst supports the IOS Investments and Blackstone teams, as well as working closely with the IOS joint venture partner, Transport Properties, in underwriting, evaluating, and executing IOS investment opportunities in key markets nationwide. This role is responsible for conducting financial modeling, market research, and due diligence to support acquisition, development, and disposition strategies. The Analyst will work closely with senior investment professionals, both inside and outside Link, as well as cross-functional partners to prepare investment committee materials, analyze market trends, and support strategic decision-making. This position offers exposure to a broad range of industrial real estate transactions and provides a strong foundation for a career in real estate investment.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Analyze and underwrite potential real estate investment opportunities using Argus and Excel-based financial models.

  • Conduct market research and track key trends, including lease and sale comparables, to support investment decisions.

  • Prepare investment committee materials for internal review and Blackstone’s Review Committee.

  • Support due diligence efforts for awarded deals, including document review, financial validation, and coordination with internal stakeholders.

  • Assist in updating national investment statistics and preparing materials for investor and board meetings.

  • Support in disposition and refinancing efforts, as needed

  • Work with the Operations team on lease reviews and reporting for acquired portfolios.

  • Periodically re-evaluate existing assets using discounted cash flow and comparable sales analysis.

  • Assist Asset Manager(s) with leasing analysis, property budgeting, and long-term asset strategy development.

  • Prepare presentations for the Management Committee and Board of Directors.

  • Perform other duties as assigned.

 

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Bachelor’s degree required by December 2025 or earlier.

  • Preferred majors: Finance, Real Estate, Accounting, Economics, Mathematics, Statistics, or related disciplines from a top-tier university.

  • Strong academic performance and demonstrated interest in real estate or investment analysis.

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and Argus Enterprise (AE).

  • Solid understanding of financial concepts such as time value of money, return on investment, and discounted cash flow.

  • Strong quantitative and qualitative analytical skills.

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

  • High attention to detail and accuracy in work.

  • Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.

  • Self-motivated, collaborative, and proactive in a team setting.

  • Understands and anticipates internal and external customer needs.

  • Works effectively across teams and departments.

  • Applies creative thinking to solve business problems.

$100,000 - $105,000 represents the presently anticipated base compensation pay range for this position at Link.  Actual pay may vary based on various factors, including but not limited to location and experience.
