About the Role

As the Regional AME Process Engineering Group Leader, you will lead a team dedicated to ensuring efficient and robust manufacturing processes. This role involves overseeing the industrialization of new products, managing equipment implementation, and supporting quality improvement initiatives. You will play a key role in optimizing production performance, driving process innovation, and ensuring compliance with automotive standards. In this leadership position, you will report to the Engineering Manager

What You Will Do

  • Lead the Automation and Process Engineering team to ensure effective production processes.
  • Oversee new project preparation, ensuring that lessons learned, best practices, standards, and both customer and local requirements are implemented
  • Actively support DFA and PFMEA processes during project development
  • Manage new product industrialization, including defining, designing, ordering, installing, and handing over the required equipment and processes to the operations team
  • Investigate and resolve 0 km customer complaints and ensure continuous quality improvement
  • Optimize equipment performance indicators such as FPY, MTBF, and Availability (Ao)
  • Handle team management and administrative tasks, including planning, organizing, and tracking team resources and activities
  • Prepare reports and analyses for senior management
  • Support team selection, training, and professional development
  • Ensure compliance with the IATF 16949 automotive quality standards

What You Need to Be Successful

  • Ability to work independently, with a proactive attitude and strong communication skills
  • Strong understanding of NPI processes and manufacturing environments
  • Comfortable working with cross-functional teams
  • Strong problem-solving skills, and a sense of responsibility
  • Proficiency in MS Office tools

Bonus Points if You Have

  • Leadership experience in a similar technical or manufacturing environment
  • Familiarity with JIRA, Microsoft Teams, and SAP systems
  • Knowledge of automotive quality standards such as VDA, ISO/TS, IATF, 8D, MSA, SPC, Pareto, APQP, PPAP, and FMEA

What Makes You Eligible

  • Bachelor’s degree in engineering (preferably in electrical engineering, mechanical engineering, or computer science)
  • 3–5 years of professional experience in electronics manufacturing, process engineering, or industrialization
  • Proficiency in English at a communicative level
  • Willingness to travel
