AI Content Strategy Lead

Role Summary:

Thomson Reuters is seeking an exceptional AI Content Strategy Lead to drive the transformation of our global content operations through artificial intelligence and intelligent automation. Reporting to the VP of Content Operations & Technology, you will play a pivotal role in reimagining how we process 20+ content types across our enterprise, helping us achieve our ambitious goal of consolidating 5,300+ workflows into fewer than 500 AI-orchestrated processes by 2026.

About the Role

In this opportunity as AI Content Strategy Lead, you will do:

Strategic Vision & Roadmap Development

  • Design and execute comprehensive AI transformation strategies for content operations, moving from use case-driven approaches to parallel re-imagination of core workflows
  • Develop business cases and ROI frameworks for AI initiatives across the content lifecycle
  • Partner with executive leadership to align AI content strategy with enterprise objectives and drive measurable business outcomes

AI-Driven Content Transformation

  • Lead the reimagination of legacy content workflows through agentic AI and intelligent orchestration
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify high-impact opportunities for AI adoption across 1,700+ content specialists
  • Design and implement frameworks for evaluating, piloting, and scaling AI solutions in production content environments

Team Leadership & Capability Building

  • Build and mentor a team of Business Analysts, AI specialists, workflow architects, and transformation leads using hub-and-spoke operating models
  • Drive change management initiatives to accelerate AI tool adoption, targeting 100% internal utilization
  • Foster a culture of innovation and continuous learning around AI technologies and best practices

Performance Management & Insights

  • Establish KPIs and metrics frameworks to measure AI transformation impact
  • Develop executive reporting and communication strategies to showcase progress and outcomes
  • Create data-driven insights to inform strategic decisions and resource allocation

About You

You’re a fit for the role of AI Content Strategy Lead if your background includes:

Required Qualifications

  • Experience in content operations, digital transformation, or AI strategy roles
  • Proven track record leading large-scale transformation initiatives with measurable business impact
  • Deep understanding of AI/ML technologies, particularly generative AI, LLMs, and intelligent automation platforms
  • Experience managing cross-functional teams and driving change across complex, global organizations
  • Strong business acumen with ability to develop compelling business cases and ROI models
  • Excellent executive communication skills with ability to influence senior stakeholders

Preferred Qualifications

  • MBA or advanced degree in relevant field
  • Experience in legal, tax, news, or regulatory content domains
  • Background in consulting or enterprise transformation programs
  • Familiarity with Agile/SAFe methodologies
  • Experience with workflow optimization and process re-engineering

Technical Competencies

  • Understanding of content management systems and enterprise content architectures
  • Knowledge of AI orchestration platforms and automation tools
  • Data analytics and visualization capabilities
  • Project/program management expertise (PMP, PRINCE2, or equivalent a plus)

Thomson Reuters complies with local laws that require upfront disclosure of the expected pay range for a position. The base compensation range varies across locations. For any eligible US locations, unless otherwise noted, the base compensation range for this role is $99,400 - $184,600. This role may also be eligible for an Annual Bonus based on a combination of enterprise and individual performance. Base pay is positioned within the range based on several factors including an individual’s knowledge, skills and experience with consideration given to internal equity. Base pay is one part of a comprehensive Total Reward program which also includes flexible and supportive benefits and other wellbeing programs.
