This role operates on a hybrid schedule requiring two days of in-office collaboration per week. The position can be based in either our San Francisco office or our new New York City office (opening January 2026).

About the Role

We are seeking a visionary, multi-disciplinary creative architect who thrives at the intersection of brand and creative, expertly weaving generative AI tools into workflows to drive growth and impact. This role is a central force in modernizing our entire creative ecosystem. You won't just use AI tools, you will be an AI-native creator, leveraging cutting-edge technologies to design, write, and produce high-impact, brand-forward assets at unprecedented scale and speed.

You will bring a unique, powerful mix of Generative Design (Image/Video), AI-driven Copywriting, and sophisticated Prompt Engineering to accelerate every facet of content creation. 

This role reports to the Director, Brand and Creative, and supports the global marketing organization. You’ll be the key AI creative liaison, collaborating closely with marketing channel leads and teams to ensure our creative consistently tells the Taskrabbit story and drives measurable results through data-informed AI outputs and other KPIs.

Key Responsibilities

Generative AI & Content Acceleration

  • Lead AI-Native Production: Design, script, and write assets across all formats (social, digital, CRM, OOH, landing pages) reaching Clients, Taskers and Partners with a primary focus on end-to-end AI-enabled workflows.
  • Prompt Engineering & Model Curation: Master and apply advanced prompt engineering techniques to maximize the quality, nuance, and brand alignment of outputs from text-to-image, text-to-video, and large language models (LLMs).
  • Rapid Prototyping & Iteration: Utilize AI to generate creative variations rapidly for A/B testing and personalization, shortening the concept-to-execution cycle from days to hours.
  • AI Tool & Workflow Development: Actively research, test, and integrate new AI tools (e.g., Midjourney, Jasper, Runway, Sora, Veo, ChaGPT skills)  and establish best practices for the wider creative team.

Creative Standards & Brand Governance

  • Bring a clear point of view on how AI and other tools can be used to enhance creative development and execution across the team, leveraging new tools and approaches.
  • Determine workflows for how teams can effectively use AI in creative development including when, how, and by whom AI-generated work should be reviewed or refined.
  • Implement robust checkpoints and model tuning strategies to ensure AI-generated content rigorously adheres to Taskrabbit's visual identity, brand voice, and legal/ethical guidelines.
  • Data-Driven Creative: Partner with performance, CRM, and organic social teams to refine creative strategies and optimize performance with every cycle.
  • Brand Integrity and Vision: Uphold Taskrabbit’s visual and verbal identity across all AI-driven work, ensuring consistency across all external-facing channels.

Cross-Functional AI Strategy

  • Consultation and Scaling: Serve as the internal subject matter expert on Generative AI for creative, teaching and scaling successful AI-integrated workflows to PR, Social, and Partnerships teams for cohesive, innovative storytelling.
  • Collaboration: Partner with marketing leads to define campaign creative goals achievable through AI, overseeing the execution and integration with external creative/production partners.

Qualifications

Required Core Skills

  • Portfolio Demonstrating AI Proficiency: Proven track record showcasing work generated or significantly augmented by Generative AI across multiple mediums (design, video, and/or copywriting).
  • Advanced AI Creative Toolset Mastery: Hands-on, expert-level experience with leading Generative AI platforms (e.g., Midjourney/DALL-E, RunwayML/Pika, Sora, Firefly, GPT-4/Claude, advanced Figma/Adobe AI features).
  • Design & Video Production: Strong foundation in visual and motion design, utilizing tools like Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Premiere, After Effects) and Figma, with a focus on integrating AI outputs into polished final assets.
  • AI-Native Copywriting: Exceptional copywriting skills with specific experience in LLM prompt engineering for marketing copy, adapting tone and generating high-performance text across short-form (social) and long-form (landing pages).

Essential AI-Focused Skills

  • Prompt Engineering Expertise: Deep understanding of structuring and iterating on prompts for quality, stylistic control, and consistency across different models.
  • Experimental & Ethical Mindset: A proactive, relentless curiosity for emerging AI capabilities and a strong commitment to the ethical and responsible use of generative technology in creative production.
  • Cross-Functional AI Strategy: Exceptional communication and collaboration skills with the ability to clearly articulate the value and limitations of AI to non-technical stakeholders.
  • Vast industry knowledge: Understanding of the evolving business and cultural conversation around AI, to develop foundational best practices and nuanced considerations per channel.

Compensation & Benefits: 

At Taskrabbit, our approach to compensation is designed to be competitive, transparent, and equitable. Total compensation consists of base pay + bonus + benefits + perks.

The base pay range for this position is $109,000 - $157,000. This range is representative of base pay only, and does not include any other total cash compensation amounts, such as company bonus or benefits. Final offer amounts may vary from the amounts listed above and will be determined by factors including, but not limited to, relevant experience, qualifications, geography, and level.
