Clario is seeking an AI Compliance Specialist to ensure our AI systems are developed and deployed in alignment with global regulatory standards, ethical principles, and industry best practices. This role supports innovation while maintaining transparency, trust, and compliance across regulated environments. What You’ll Be Doing
Evaluate AI models for robustness, bias, generalizability, and overfitting, ensuring alignment with ethical and technical standards
Monitor AI system performance, detect model drift, and recommend corrective actions
Assess model interpretability and fairness to support transparency and accountability
Review and report on compliance of AI systems with regulatory frameworks including EU AI Act, ISO/IEC 42001, ISO 9000, ISO 13485, ISO 27001, and FDA 21 CFR Part 11
Prepare and maintain validation and compliance documentation for audits and regulatory reviews
Collaborate with engineering, data science, legal, and quality teams to align AI development with compliance requirements
Lead or support initiatives to enhance AI lifecycle monitoring and governance
Provide training and guidance on AI compliance best practices
Stay informed on emerging regulations, standards, and trends in AI governance
Participate in strategic planning to align compliance efforts with organizational goals
What We Look For
Master’s degree in Computer Science, Data Science, Engineering, or a related field; or a Bachelor’s degree with equivalent experience
Strong understanding of AI/ML validation and regulatory compliance in regulated industries
High-level understanding of AI models such as Random Forest, CNN, and LLMs
Familiarity with international standards and regulatory frameworks (e.g., ISO, FDA, EU AI Act)
Excellent communication skills with the ability to convey complex technical concepts clearly
Experience in regulated environments such as healthcare, finance, or life sciences
Demonstrated passion for ethical, responsible, and impactful AI development
