About the Group:
The User Experience Technologies R&D group focuses on next-generation AI-driven solutions for enhancing interaction between humans and in-vehicle systems. Our multidisciplinary team of machine learning and user experience researchers explores, develops, and evaluates novel technologies, methodologies, and concepts. Key research areas include generative and adaptive user interfaces, intelligent interaction modalities, voice agents, and predictive analytics.
We are seeking a Ph.D./Master’s student to join our team and contribute to cutting-edge research projects.
What will YOU do?
Participate in the development and evaluation of state-of-the-art AI solutions aimed at improving human-machine interfaces in GM vehicles.
Conduct guided research, including algorithm design and experimental validation in both laboratory and in-vehicle environments.
Your Skills & Abilities (Required Qualifications)
Currently enrolled in a Ph.D. program in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, Data Science, Artificial Intelligence, or a related field (strong M.Sc candidates will also be considered).
Strong foundation in machine learning and deep learning; experience with large language models (LLMs) and generative AI is a plus.
Proficiency in Python and familiarity with ML frameworks such as PyTorch or TensorFlow.
