DB Global Technology is Deutsche Bank’s technology centre in Central and Eastern Europe. Since its set-up in 2013, Bucharest Technology Centre (BEX) has constantly proven its capacity to deliver global technology products and services, playing a dynamic role in the Bank’s technology transformation.

You will be part of the Tribe Workflow in Shared Application & Services (SAS) which develops and operates the central workflow platform of Deutsche Bank. Our holistic Business Process Management solutions support multiple thousands of business processes and process multiple hundred thousand cases daily.

As a Product Owner, you will coordinate the execution of our business or technical initiatives in sync with the programme BoW and also DB’s policies and strategy. You will meaningfully contribute to this by acting as the single point of contact for the assigned initiatives, showing accountability and responsibility spanning across planning, execution and delivery. You will work together with several SMEs to define the priorities, identify and coordinate the resolution of issues, coordinate implementation of the changes, communicate with wider team and different stakeholders, and ensure the assigned backlog is well managed in terms of priorities, dependencies and delivery timelines with a strong focus on high-quality delivery.

Responsibilities

  • Define and prioritize product backlog: Translate business & technical needs into actionable user stories, ensuring alignment with strategic goals.
  • Drive product development lifecycle: Manage scope, timelines, and trade-offs from conception to successful delivery.
  • Foster stakeholder collaboration: Build strong relationships with users, customers, and technical teams to gather requirements and ensure product adoption.
  • Shape product vision and roadmap: Articulate the future direction of the product, balancing innovation with practical implementation.
  • Facilitate issue resolution: Proactively identify and address impediments, ensuring smooth progress and successful outcomes.

Skills

  • A can-do attitude.
  • Strong product ownership /project management knowledge.
  • Ability to think and communicate strategically and clearly across different knowledge and seniority levels.
  • Ability to coordinate and influence team members to ensure delivery on time.
  • Minimum 3 years of project management/product ownership experience.
