After Sales Services Manager, India Plant

What you will do:

The After Sales Service Manager is responsible for leading the service sales operations for Controls (BMS), Fire, and Security Systems at the India Plant. The core function of this role is to ensure exceptional after-sales support, manage customer relationships, and drive revenue growth through effective service sales strategies. The position requires a proactive approach to understanding customer needs, negotiating contracts, and achieving sales targets while collaborating with internal teams to provide high-quality service delivery.

How you will do it:

  • Manage and oversee after-sales service sales operations within South India, focusing on Controls (BMS), Fire, and Security Systems.

  • Regularly interact with internal field operations teams to assess customer requirements for labor services and spare parts at various sites.

  • Develop and prepare cost estimates, submit offers to customers, and effectively negotiate contracts to finalize orders in a timely manner.

  • Achieve monthly forecasts for labor and materials (L&M) orders while ensuring adherence to sales processes and compliance standards.

  • Identify and explore new service sales opportunities in the market, actively creating and maintaining a robust sales pipeline (minimum 5x sales target).

  • Collaborate closely with internal teams to ensure timely order booking and fulfillment in line with sales checklists and compliance processes.

  • Regularly meet quarterly and yearly sales order targets and gross margin objectives.

  • Foster strong relationships with customers to enhance satisfaction and loyalty, ensuring repeat business and long-term partnerships.

  • Coordinate internal resources within the factory to provide technical, human resource, and material support to the external after-sales service team and promptly handle major customer complaints.

  • Analyze various after-sales service information and promptly provide feedback on the information and analysis results to relevant departments for improvement.

  • Exchange information on factory products and process improvements with on-site after-service technician to provide support for maintenance technical training.

What we look for:

Candidates should hold a graduate degree with a minimum of 10-12 years of experience in a similar role within the industry. Strong commercial and technical knowledge, coupled with proven contract negotiation and customer relationship management skills, is essential. The ability to work collaboratively and strategically to drive business growth is critical for success in this position.
