Aerostructure-Mechanical Inspection Supervisors

What to expect:
You will be part of a global inspection team assuring quality of components and assemblies that this global aerospace leader is sourcing from one or more suppliers in this area. Once on the team, you will be deployed through SQA’s operations center based on client need and each supplier’s production schedule.

What you’ll do:
Provides supervision, oversight and technical leadership to the inspectors on-site. Liaison between Boeing and SQA inspection team.  Provide direction to inspectors to ensure quality requirements and performance goals are achieved. Coach, mentor and train inspection personnel to enhance their skill sets. Ensure aircraft structures comply with applicable drawings/specifications. Set a good leadership example for staff to follow, and streamline inspection methods and processes. Observes and verifies the accuracy and adequacy of the inspection activities and records. Maintains quality metrics and reports, as required, and implements appropriate preventive/corrective action to improve quality. Supervises the day to day activities of the quality inspection team on the inspection of materials, processes, parts, assemblies, finished parts to assure quality products. Provides quality expertise and training for all inspection positions in order to maintain a smooth flowing operation. Routinely inspects products as needed for all product lines. Participate in the daily Daher Supervisor meetings ensuring Quality items/issues for the scope of the work are discussed.

What you’ll need:
Must have aero structure commodity experience.  Must know what these are:  Wing Center Section, Bulk Head Wheel Wells, Section 48, and Horizontal Stabilizers.
Experience with aero structures / sheet metal is a must.
Ability to understand and interpret blueprints (GD&T) and all applicable drawings.
Experience with nonconformance investigation
Experience inspecting mechanical parts.
Experience with product verification to drawing requirements.
Strong communication and technology skills
Must be able to pass a background check.
Must be a US Citizen
