$50.05 - $75.10The Pediatrics Department at Atrium Health Levine Children’s Brenner Children’s Hospital is recruiting a full-time advanced practice provider (APP) to join their palliative and complex care teams. This APP will support our Care Always Neonatal-Perinatal Palliative Care team primarily providing inpatient consultation to neonates and their families who have life-limiting diagnoses, have delivered peri-viably, or who are expected to survive with complex medical needs. This APP will also work with an interdisciplinary team of physicians, nurses, social worker and a patient navigator of the Pediatric Enhanced Care Program to provide clinical care for children with medical complexity in the inpatient and outpatient settings. The APP should be able to care for patients spanning the entire pediatric age range with a variety of diagnoses and will collaborate with specialties across the health system. Our teams work together to ensure consistent messaging regarding diagnosis, prognosis, and options for management as well as to support the family in shared decision making to achieve goals of care and optimization of quality of life. There are many opportunities to pursue academic interests in education, quality improvement, outreach, and research. Position would be a 5-day work week model.
