Although this position may perform some work remotely, as determined by supervisor and needs of the college, the Administrative Manager role will require primary on-campus in-person work. Flexible work arrangements are available in the College of Pharmacy.
This position will occasionally be required to work additional hours or weekends to complete time-sensitive projects, and attention events.

The Administrative Manager reports to the Senior Associate Dean for Academic Affairs, provides support and management for the Academic Affairs Office, and is responsible for all aspects of the academic year cycle.
Serve as the point of contact and customer service manager for the Senior Associate Dean for Academic Affairs portfolio in the College of Pharmacy. Supervise staff that support academic processes, including data maintenance, systems, compliance, and administration for the academic affairs portfolio and subunits.
Provide or supervise executive level administrative coordination to the Senior Associate Dean, including portfolio travel, procurement, calendar, class preparation, committees and administrative meetings.
Manage all aspects of the academic year cycle, including course scheduling, teaching load reporting, course instructor surveys, grade reporting, and textbooks. Liaise frequently with Registrar, Enrollment Management and other offices to execute critical annual projects. Maintain PHR and PGS course inventory, including submitting changes and course catalog. Manage registration restrictions and prioritizations to ensure standards and prerequisites for curriculum are defined.
Collaborate with managers in other dean unit portfolios as appropriate on classroom space, student employment, or operations. Process Workday assignments for student employment. Provide support and staff back up as necessary for other areas of the dean’s units.
Other relevant functions as assigned.
Bachelor's degree in a related field. Three to five years of related management experience within a large organization.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Demonstrated ability to accurately multi-task in a dynamic, fast-paced environment under pressure of stress and multiple deadlines.
Ability to meet deadlines with a large degree of independence.
Professional demeanor, superior organizational skills, and attention to detail.
Ability to appropriately handle confidential information.
Ability to effectively use Microsoft 365 suite, including Word, Excel, and Outlook.
Additional experience and education may be substituted as appropriate.
Experience in higher education administration.
Experience utilizing UT Austin Registrar resources and tools
$72,000+ depending on qualifications
