Job Description

Houlihan Lokey is seeking a flexible, detail-oriented, and team-focused Administrative Generalist – Floater to support our Corporate Finance team in either Atlanta or Dallas. This entry-level role is ideal for someone who thrives in a dynamic environment, enjoys variety in their day-to-day work, and is eager to build foundational experience in professional services administration.

The Generalist will work closely with the Administrative Manager and partner with other administrative professionals to provide coverage support during absences, leaves, and peak workload periods. Responsibilities will shift based on business needs and may include calendar coordination, meeting logistics, Salesforce entries, and ad-hoc projects.

Responsibilities

  • Step in to provide temporary coverage for Administrative Assistants across Corporate Finance USA.

  • Assist with calendar management, meeting coordination, and travel logistics for assigned bankers.

  • Reconcile and submit expense reports for Associates, ensuring accuracy and timely processing.

  • Support client meetings and internal events with scheduling, logistics, and documentation.

  • Partner closely with the Administrative Manager to identify coverage needs and support ad-hoc initiatives.

  • Collaborate with administrative colleagues to ensure consistency and continuity in service delivery.

  • Demonstrate flexibility and a willingness to take on new or unfamiliar tasks as priorities shift.

  • Enter and update information in Salesforce and other internal systems as needed.

  • Assist with office operations such as conference room scheduling, catering coordination, and tech setup.

  • Maintain a professional and proactive approach while supporting multiple teams with varying needs.

  • Participate in team meetings and training sessions to build knowledge and contribute to team success.

Qualifications

  • 0–2 years of administrative or office experience; internship or campus experience welcomed.

  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Outlook, Excel, and PowerPoint; familiarity with Salesforce is a plus.

  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.

  • Professional demeanor, reliability, and a flexible mindset.
