Provide general administrative support to a group of financial professionals on the Municipal Underwriting Desk (salespersons, traders and bankers). Solve problems that arise, act on requests with little direction, identify and implement efficiencies for revenue generating teammates, improve processes and be the ultimate team player. Compile and analyze internal datasets and produce regular reports to management on outcomes. Assist in the flawless execution of marketing events, client meetings, and conferences. Act as a point of contact for clients, visitors, and guests in the office.
· Essential Job Functions:
· Provide administrative support to the Municipal Underwriting Desk teammates. Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
o Travel coordination and calendar management
o Assist in entertainment arrangements for client events
o Manage expenses and accounting reports
o Track paid time off, submit reports and other HR-related actions
o Assist with new issue accounting and back-office tasks on municipal debt offerings as it relates to regulatory and internal compliance efforts
o Provide back-up to new issue administrator during PTO and higher volume periods of time
· Coordinate with trading desk, sales and public finance teams on marketing events, live deal and non-deal roadshows. Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
o Coordinate Investor Visits
o Arrange ground transportation, logistics, meals, and delivery of printed materials
o Effective communication between Sales Team, Public Finance Banking, Municipal Desk, and clients
· Assist Public Finance team with conferences:
o Sector-specific conferences throughout the year
o Coordinating with multiple bankers on agendas, participants, etc.
· Assist Underwriting and Sales Managers with Investor database maintenance and reporting
· Coordinate client communication, research distribution and associated marketing activities
· Serve as a point person by registering visitors, ordering supplies, reserving conference rooms, and assisting with onboarding/offboarding
· Juggle competing deadlines and priorities
Requirements:
· 3+ years of relative experience
· Excellent PC skills in MS Office, especially Excel, Word, and PowerPoint
· Excellent written, verbal, and time-management skills
· Ability to work in the office four days per week.
Preferred Qualifications:
· Undergraduate degree
· Basic knowledge of financial industry

Physical Demands:
· Prolonged sitting, ability to communicate face to face and on the phone with teammates and clients, frequent use of PC/laptop, occasional lifting/pushing/pulling of backpacks, computer bags up to 40 lbs.

· None to very rare unless a large industry event requires onsite participation
COMPENSATION AND BENEFITS
This position is eligible to earn a base hourly rate in the range of $22.12 - $33.65 per hour. Placement within the pay range may differ based upon various factors, including but not limited to skills, experience and geographic location.
