About the Role:

The Accounts Payable Specialist is part of our Finance team and will report to the Senior Accountant.  The A/P Specialist will support all aspects of the accounts payable process, including the timely and accurate processing of invoices. This position provides information and documentation to leadership, monitors expenses, identifies and resolves discrepancies, and performs a variety of associated tasks. This role requires strong attention to detail and the ability to work collaboratively across departments.

What you will do:

  • Set up new vendors in the accounting software and complete onboarding procedures
  • Maintain vendor contracts, agreements, and documentation
  • Process vendor invoices, employee reimbursements, and coordinate payment approvals
  • Review and process company credit card transactions
  • Prepare and execute ACH payments and wire transfers
  • Reconcile vendor statements and address discrepancies in a timely and professional manner
  • Monitor invoice reporting, identify anomalies, and collaborate with internal departments to resolve issues
  • Respond to and resolve outstanding payment inquiries promptly
  • Support month-end close processes related to accounts payable
  • Provide documentation and assistance during annual financial audits
  • Contribute to special projects and perform other duties as assigned

Our ideal candidate will have:

  • High School Diploma or equivalent
  • Prior Accounts Payable experience with a desire to grow
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel or Google Sheets and prior experience with accounting software
  • Exceptional attention to detail and enjoys the challenge of resolving discrepancies
  • Dependable, punctual, and professional demeanor
  • Adaptable and receptive to feedback and new processes
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment
  • Must be available to work on-site 5 days a week in Northwest Arkansas

Work Environment:

  • This position operates primarily within a factory setting
  • The noise level can range from moderate to loud
  • Exposure to moving mechanical parts and vehicles (e.g., forklifts, trucks)
  • Schedule: Monday - Friday, 8:00 AM - 4:00 PM*

This position pays an hourly rate of $21.00. All hourly rates meet or exceed applicable state and federal minimum wage laws. This position is classified as non-exempt and is eligible for overtime pay in accordance with the Fair Labor Standards Act (FLSA) and applicable state law.
