The Accounts Payable Analyst will be assigned to specific nVent divisions (System Protections, Electrical Connections or Corporate). The expectation for the Analyst is to manage the technologies, be responsible for the creation and dissemination of periodic reports and handle the non-routine AP duties for their assigned divisions.
WHAT YOU WILL EXPERIENCE IN THIS POSITION:
Support AP for assigned division to ensure compliance with DOA, SOX Controls and nVent Accounts Payable Policy.
Manage the invoice split queue and resolve Esker Teachings for assigned divisions within the Esker system.
Work the Fresh Service queue for Esker user setups.
Curate and update SharePoint documents as needed.
Handle the AP Mailbox RPA Bots.
Perform second verbal verifications on bank change requests, as needed.
Serve as back up for all payment runs and Positive Pay decisioning for their assigned divisions.
Run, distribute and resolve GRNI reports on monthly basis.
Academic background in High School Diploma or equivalent experience and College accounting course work is preferred.
3-5+ years in or previous experience with high volume Accounts Payable experience preferred.
Previous experience working and communicating with Vendors on statement issues.
Ability to multi-task and enjoy variety of duties in fast paced environment.
Ability to take initiative and use experience in AP to assist in decision-making skills.
Accuracy skills, ability to work independently, and is a quick learner.

Pay Transparency
nVent’s pay scale is based on the expected range of base pay for this job and the employee’s work location. Employee pay within this range will be based on a combination of factors including knowledge, skills, abilities, experience, education, and performance. Where federal, state, or local minimum wage requirements exist, employee pay will comply.
Compensation Range:
Depending on the position offered, employee may be eligible for other forms of compensation, such as annual incentives.
