This internship will provide an enriching unique opportunity which will focus on both Finance and Information Technology. You will learn about the Federal Home Loan Banks’ (FHLBs) integral role as an intermediary between the capital markets and its members, which comprise about 80% of U.S. lending institutions. This unique experience provides exposure to the accounting world through process automation, business intelligence and accounting systems.
Key areas:
- Business Process Automation
- Business Intelligence (Enterprise Data Warehouse, Financial Reports and Dashboards)
- Accounting Systems Administration
- Citizen developers bridging the gap between business and information technology
Qualifications:
- Pursing undergraduate or graduate degree with concentration in accounting and/or information technology
- Self-starter with strong problem-solving and analytical skills
- Team player with strong work ethics, positive attitude, and professional demeanor
- Excellent verbal and written communications skills
- Attentive listener who follows instructions
- Academic or real-world experience in data science
- Strong SQL and Excel skills
- Knowledge of Power Platform is a big plus.
- A written reference from faculty is appreciated though not required
- Passion for problem-solving and a can-do attitude are a must
