The Boeing Company is seeking a motivated, driven and highly skilled Accounting Systems Analyst (Experienced or Senior) to join our newly-formed Future Finance Systems team in Tukwila, WA, Arlington, VA, Charleston, SC, Chicago, IL, El Segundo, CA, Everett, WA, Hazelwood, MO, Huntington Beach, CA, Mesa, AZ, Philadelphia, PA, Renton, WA. This role will focus on accounting system design and development primarily within the SAP S/4 Hana platform.  The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in finance, cost & financial accounting processes / principles, systems analysis and SAP S/4 Hana, advanced Excel skills with a proven ability to collaborate across teams to drive improvements and implement technology solutions.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Support the development and implementation of finance systems, notably SAP S/4 Hana

  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including IT, accounting, finance and manufacturing to gather requirements and design solutions that enhance functionalities

  • Lead system testing and validation efforts to ensure that new functionalities meet business requirements and are implemented successfully

  • Provide training and support to end-users on finance systems, ensuring they understand processes and tools

  • Identify opportunities and automation within accounting  processes and tools

  • Stay current with industry trends and for process improvements best practices in finance systems to recommend enhancements

  • Travel up to 5%

Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience):

  • Bachelor’s degree or higher

  • 3+ years of experience working in cost accounting, financial accounting, SAP S/4 Hana system implementations or a related field

  • Experience demonstrating an understanding of financial and accounting principles

  • Experience successfully managing multiple projects and meeting deadlines in a fast-paced, evolving environment

Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):

  • 5+ years of relevant experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience

  • Experience working in a large, multinational corporation, manufacturing industry or aerospace and defense

  • Proficiency in SAP S/4 Hana, including Project Manufacturing Management and Optimization (PMMO)

  • Experience articulating complex technical concepts clearly and concisely

  • Experience as a change agent and ability to communicate and drive change with multiple stakeholders

Pay is based upon candidate experience and qualifications, as well as market and business considerations. 

Summary Pay Range Experienced (Level 3): $105,300 - $128,700

Summary Pay Range Senior (Level 4): $131,400 - $160,600
