The annual salary range for this role is $85,000-$95,000 in New York.

As part of an effort to improve the finance function, we are recruiting for an Accounting and Administrative specialist.
Reporting lines and interactions
The accounting and administrative specialist will be part of a global team of 8 people and report to the Accounting Lead.
As part of the role and responsibilities, the candidate will be required to work with internal stakeholders across the organisation as well as external stakeholders such as, suppliers and banks.
Details of main responsibilities
Support of Account payables
Invoices reception and checking
Invoices approval follow-up, codification and booking
Payables payment booking
Support of Travel & Expenses (Concur)
Support and training of staff members
Daily support for administrative tasks
Daily support for checking Travel & Expenses entries and booking
Support of Account receivables
Support internal stakeholders (questions, investigations)
Support/maintain on filling in external providers portals
Booking incoming payments
Others
Credit card administration
Relevant tax forms (e.g. W8)
Build and maintain good working relationships with all stakeholders, internal and external
Payroll
Track salary and interim salary due dates
Be the interface with the service provider
Review the data received and prepare payments
The successful candidate will be assessed on
Quality of bookings (no. of errors, etc…)
Volume managed (no. of invoices booked, email response, etc…)
Relationship with stakeholders (internal and external feedback)
Preferred Requirements and Experience
Degree in finance, accounting and / or business administration
Professional accounting qualification is a plus
5+ years of experience in similar position
Excellent IT skills (MS Office, Certinia, Concur is a plus)
Excellent technical accounting and systems skills
Strong controls mindset and behaviours
Strong organization skills
Fluent spoken and written English
Excellent communication skills
Proactive, practical, pragmatic, flexible, hands-on, customer focused, solution based and results oriented
