As the Account Manager for Neogard, you’ll be in charge of growing this line of high-performing infrastructure coatings throughout Mexico North, Central America and Caribbean market. Join a team bursting with potential that provides coating solutions to leading owners, architects, engineers, contractors and consultants.
Essential Responsibilities:
Represent the Neogard line, offering coating solutions for flooring, roofing, and waterproofing segments.
Provide sales support to existing customers while developing new accounts through strengthened relationships with key decision-makers.
Conduct regular sales calls to owners, buyers, finishing supervisors, contractors and engineers.
Apply knowledge of liquid coating applications to assist customers in improving coating performance.
Manage accounts by becoming an expert on Neogard products and understanding customer business needs.
Collaborate with Marketing to utilize websites, trade shows, and promotional materials as sales tools aligned with Hempel’s brand image.
Prepare price quotes and coordinate order processing with the Customer Care department.
Work with R&D to develop a deep understanding of the product portfolio and deliver tailored solutions.
Maintain and update CRM records, monthly sales reports, and expense reports.
Serve customers nationwide across Mexico and CA&C, demonstrating initiative and strong time management skills.
Qualifications:
We expect that you will have proven experience managing main projects, developing key accounts, creating solution specifications, and selling products to key decision makers in the flooring, roofing and waterproofing segments. You will also have strong negotiation skills and executive presence during presentations. To be successful in this role, you will also have the following qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree or equivalent years of experience
Minimum 5–8 years of experience in value or solution selling, preferably within the paint or coatings industry, with a focus on flooring, roofing, and waterproofing systems.
Proficiency in English — able to read, write, and speak fluently is REQUIRED
Excellent negotiation and communications skills
Build and maintain strong, strategic relationships with investors, contractors, and key decision-makers.
Demonstrated experience in value-based selling and relationship building.
Possess an organized, independent, and proactive work approach.
Proficient in Microsoft Office, including Access, Excel, and PowerPoint.
Experienced in using CRM systems or similar platforms.
Must reside in or near Monterrey, Mexico
Ability to travel overnight 50+%
