The Account Manager plays a critical role in ensuring the ongoing success and satisfaction of PipelineRx’s clients. This role focuses on retaining and expanding existing customer relationships within an assigned territory. The SAM is responsible for maintaining a high level of client satisfaction, preserving baseline revenue, and identifying opportunities to grow revenue through service expansion and deeper penetration within existing health systems.
This position does not involve new logo acquisition. Instead, success will come from building trusted partnerships with current clients, helping them realize the full value of PipelineRx solutions, and expanding services across facilities within existing Integrated Delivery Networks (IDNs).
Responsibilities
Client Retention & Satisfaction
Serve as the primary relationship owner for assigned accounts, ensuring consistent engagement and satisfaction.
Maintain ≥95% of baseline revenue annually through proactive communication and partnership management.
Conduct regular business reviews to assess performance, identify opportunities, and reinforce value.
Growth Within Existing Accounts
Identify and close opportunities to add new PipelineRx services to existing clients.
Expand service adoption across additional hospitals within a health system or IDN.
Partner with internal stakeholders (Sales, Clinical Operations, Product, Finance) to develop tailored growth strategies for each account.
Account Planning & Collaboration
Develop and execute strategic account plans aligned with client goals and PipelineRx business objectives.
Collaborate with the broader Sales and Operations teams to ensure seamless client experiences.
Track account metrics, revenue performance, and contract renewals to support retention and growth goals.
Qualifications
5+ years of account management experience in healthcare or SaaS environments (hospital or health system experience strongly preferred).
Proven success in client retention and growth within complex, multi-site accounts.
Strong business acumen, consultative selling skills, and an ability to understand clinical and operational challenges in hospital settings.
Exceptional communication, relationship-building, and presentation skills.
Bachelor’s degree required; MBA or equivalent preferred.
