We are seeking an Account Executive who is a proven seller, looking to drive sales, grow business ranking, and develop strong store and client relationships. Must have the ability to motivate, train and influence sales people to sell Hourglass Cosmetics through sharing knowledge by educating and coaching about: the product, the brand and application. When in-store: sell side-by-side with the team and lead by example when: demonstrating product, building a sale, maintaining cleanliness standards, respecting store standards, following policies and procedures and applying make-up. This includes: planning and executing successful events, selling product, building the sale through make-up application. Build and maintain store relationships through consistent communication with Leadership and Store Selling Teams. 

ROLE OVERVIEW:

Primary tasks to include but are not limited to direct sales support, event planning and execution, main point of contact for all doors within the market and driving brand awareness. Duties include direct sales support, training, event planning and execution, relationship formation and development, business growth both in sales and ranking, and clear communication with vendor partners, counterparts and management team. The territory is fluid, and will involve travel to other markets to train, help support events, and provide sales support as needed.

WHAT YOU DO:

  • Facilitate daily trainings to introduce, educate and inspire on new product launches, reinforce core products and inform and motivate the team about selling.
  • Achieve sales plan.
  • Plan and manage time effectively when scheduling store visits to maximize efficiency and effectiveness in driving revenue. 
  • Plan, participate and execute store events to make goals.
  • Review and analyze daily & weekly sales grid achievement by door and where applicable by Market Trainers. 
  • Understand business in order to partner and plan store visits which best impact the business Plan in-store coverage during key store hours.
  • Work with and coach others to achieve goals and targets.
  • Make deadlines for all requests including but not limited to: calendars (as outlined by account), expense reports and event recaps. 
  • Effectively execute visual directives, education selling tools and customer service standards.
  • Ensure visual merchandising and housekeeping standards.
  • Work with store to ensure stock levels are balanced.

QUALIFICATIONS

  • Minimum 3 years industry experience
  • Excellent makeup artistry skills
  • Effective goal setting, planning, and communication, relationship-building and strong problem-solving skills
  • Self-Starter with the ability to make solid business decisions
  • Capable of working in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple priorities
  • Exhibit effective communication skills with customers, peers and management
  • Experience in working with MS Word and Excel
  • Ability to travel and work weekends
  • Valid driver’s license is required
  • Experience working within Sephora environment a plus
