This is a high-impact role, accountable for expanding TELUS Health’s market presence and revenue across all product lines — from Employee Assistance and Total Mental Health to Virtual Care and Wellbeing solutions.
You will act as the executive lead for these insurer partnerships, developing and executing a clear growth strategy that connects TELUS Health’s capabilities with the insurers’ business priorities. Working closely with product, distribution, and innovation teams at each carrier, you’ll identify opportunities to integrate TELUS Health programs into their group benefit portfolios — helping them meet the evolving health and wellness needs of plan sponsors and members while advancing their own commercial, retention, and digital health strategies.
Success in this role will come from your ability to influence at the executive level, build multi-stakeholder alignment, and create new pathways for growth. You’ll lead joint business planning, steer strategic initiatives, and ensure our partnerships deliver measurable results — including increased adoption, deeper product penetration, and sustained revenue expansion. By strengthening TELUS Health’s position as the preferred wellbeing partner for Canada’s insurers, you’ll directly contribute to our purpose of improving the health of every life we touch.
Lead Strategic Growth Partnerships
Serve as the executive lead for TELUS Health’s partnerships with major Canadian life and health insurers — with a focus on Quebec-based organizations — to drive national revenue growth and deepen alignment across product portfolios. Develop and execute strategic plans that position TELUS Health as the preferred wellbeing partner within the group benefits ecosystem.
Drive Joint Business Planning and Market Development
Collaborate with insurer product, distribution, and innovation teams to identify market opportunities and design go-to-market strategies that accelerate adoption of TELUS Health solutions. Lead annual and quarterly business reviews to assess performance, align objectives, and unlock new commercial opportunities.
Expand Product Penetration Across Portfolios
Leverage TELUS Health’s comprehensive suite of solutions — including Employee Assistance, Total Mental Health, Virtual Care, and Wellbeing programs — to create integrated offerings that deliver measurable outcomes for plan sponsors and members while supporting insurers’ revenue and client retention goals.
Champion Cross-Functional Collaboration
Act as the connective force between TELUS Health’s sales, product, marketing, and customer success teams to ensure cohesive execution across all channels. Influence internal strategy and advocate for partner needs to guide future product development and innovation.
Lead with Insight and Influence
Maintain a deep understanding of the group benefits landscape, competitive positioning, and evolving client expectations. Use market intelligence and data insights to inform strategic decisions, shape partnership conversations, and position TELUS Health as a thought leader in wellbeing innovation.
Deliver Measurable Business Impact
Own partnership performance metrics, including pipeline generation, product expansion, and revenue contribution. Ensure that strategic relationships deliver tangible outcomes that advance TELUS Health’s growth objectives and strengthen our national presence.
