Job Title

Account Executive

About your role:
Clover, a Fiserv company, delivers an industry-leading SMB platform that combines payments and point-of-sale software to help merchants run and grow their businesses. As an Account Executive on our inside sales team, you will be responsible for driving new business by converting inbound digital leads and cultivating strategic relationships with small business owners, franchise groups, and channel partners. You’ll manage the full sales cycle—from discovery and tailored demos to negotiation and post-sale handoff—while collaborating with marketing, product, and implementation teams to ensure seamless onboarding and long-term adoption. This high-impact role requires a deep understanding of POS and payments technology, strong consultative selling skills, and the ability to translate merchant needs into measurable revenue and product insights that help shape Clover’s roadmap.

What you’ll do:

  • Drive new business development by qualifying and converting inbound leads from digital marketing channels and executing outbound prospecting to build pipeline.
  • Own the end-to-end sales cycle: discovery, product demonstration, proposal, negotiation, and contract close.
  • Demonstrate and present Clover’s SaaS point-of-sale solutions and add-on services to prospective merchants, tailoring demos to business needs.
  • Negotiate pricing, contract terms, and service agreements to close deals while protecting margin and compliance requirements.
  • Maintain and manage an active sales pipeline with accurate forecasting, activity tracking, and consistent follow-up.
  • Collaborate with onboarding, implementation, and customer success teams to ensure seamless handoff and reduce time-to-revenue.
  • Responsibilities listed are not intended to be all-inclusive and may be modified as necessary.

Experience you’ll need to have:

  • 2+ years of experience in B2B SaaS sales and new business development with demonstrated full sales-cycle ownership.
  • 2+ years of experience using CRM platforms for pipeline management, forecasting, and sales reporting.
  • 2+ years of experience delivering product demonstrations and consultative selling of SaaS or point-of-sale solutions.
  • 2+ years of equivalent combination of educational background, related experience, and/or military experience.

Experience that would be great to have:

  • Bilingual proficiency in English and Korean.
  • Experience with merchant onboarding, payment terminal hardware deployment, or POS integrations.
  • Proven track record of meeting or exceeding quota in a commission-based sales role.
  • Experience in stakeholder management and coordinating cross-functional teams for deal execution.

How you’ll work:

  • This role requires the use of a computer and audio equipment.

Benefits at Fiserv:

  • Fuel Your Life program to support physical, financial, social, and emotional well-being
  • Paid holidays and generous time away policies
  • No-cost mental health support through Employee Assistance Programs
  • Living Proof program to recognize your peers’ extra effort with points used for rewards
  • Eight Employee Resource Groups to foster a collaborative culture
  • Unparalleled professional growth with training, development, and internal mobility opportunities
  • Retirement planning and discounted shares with the Employee Stock Purchase Plan
  • Medical, dental, vision, life, and disability insurance options available day one
  • Tuition assistance and reimbursement program
  • Paid parental, caregiver, and military leave
