Position Summary
WashU's Division of Student Affairs seeks a support professional for the position of Academic Services Coordinator. The Division of Student Affairs advances the educational mission of the university through resources and experiences outside the classroom that prepare our students for lifelong success.
The Academic Services Coordinator of Disability Resources Testing Services is responsible for the oversight of daily administrative operations and leadership for the implementation of testing accommodations, management of Disability Resources testing facilities, and supervision of student/part-time staff. This position enforces testing policies, develops effective data tracking mechanisms, provides regular reports, and maintains partnerships with academic and student affairs to address disability resources testing- related matters.
Job Description
Primary Duties & Responsibilities:
Coordination of Oversight
- Provides daily administrative oversight and leadership to Disability Resources testing operations and exam-related accommodations; manages testing facilities, ensuring they are equipped with necessary technology and resources for examinees and testing staff.
Supervision and Management
- Supervises Disability Resources student and part-time staff to ensure proper facilitation of exams/testing accommodations; conducts hiring, onboarding, and training for Disability Resources student/part-time staff members.
Partnerships and Trainings
- Maintains strong partnerships with colleagues in academic and student affairs; serves as a liaison to faculty and staff relative to disability resources testing-related matters; develops and presents training and education programs to instructors, students, and staff regarding testing-related practices.
Administrative Leadership
- Develops and enforces testing-related policies and procedures in alignment with best practices; monitors and tracks testing data and provides appropriate projections to inform overall needs for testing-related operations; prepares regular reports on testing outcomes, trends, and recommendations.
Performs other duties as assigned.
Working Conditions:

Preferred Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Education, Communication, Organizational Learning, or related field.
- Direct experience within secondary or post-secondary education environment, test proctoring center, or educational environment.
- Direct experience supporting disabled students in an educational setting.
- Knowledge, training, or familiarity with the Social Model of Disability, Principles of Universal Design, and disability related regulations and compliance requirements applicable to post-secondary education.

Salary Range
$21.17 - $32.85 / Hourly
The salary range reflects base salaries paid for positions in a given job grade across the University. Individual rates within the range will be determined by factors including one's qualifications and performance, equity with others in the department, market rates for positions within the same grade and department budget.
