Abeka Digital Designer


 

The Digital Designer 1 is responsible for continuing the provided design and style of digital content throughout an entire product, and is also responsible for providing support with interactive coding. The Designer works with digital content including images and webpage layouts until the content is approved for use.


 

Prepare Images

Extract selected images from print products and create new images to fit predetermined specifications. Prepare each image for use on screen and for electronic distribution. Contribute to solving visual problems with layout or color for images with specific classroom needs.

Design Layouts

Lay out interactive webpages using existing web technology code and provided content. Ensure that each layout fits the project specifications.

Coding

Assist with developing design and functionality to new and existing interactive webpages.

Make Correction

Make any prescribed changes to images and webpages. Submit the corrected content for approval.

Education

Required Education:

College Degree - Graphic Design Preferred Education: MA - Graphic Design, MFA - Graphic Design


 

Work Experience

Required Experience:

1+ years in web design Preferred Experience: 1+ years in HTML


 

Physical Requirements and Skills

Adobe Dreamweaver, Adobe Illustrator, Deadline Management, Detail-Oriented, Microsoft Office, Multitasking, Office Equipment
