We need an English-fluent Linux Engineer and ETL, based in Latin America, available to work remotely.

We are looking for someone with exceptional communication and relationship-building skills, who embraces changes while maintaining strong attention to detail. An interested and proactive person, who's constantly learning and improving their skills.

Are you the one we are looking for?

Responsibilities:

  • Deploy and support remote Linux-based systems used for energy monitoring.
  • Deploy, manage, and troubleshoot network infrastructures and connectivity issues.
  • Use Linux command-line interfaces (CLI) to perform system administration and maintenance tasks.
  • Support remote engineers in diagnosing issues and verifying system functionalities.
  • Assist with remote edge compute installations and troubleshooting.
  • Perform data conversion and ETL (Extract/Transform/Load) tasks using CSV files and similar data formats.
  • Develop and maintain technical documentation for deployments, procedures, and support processes.
  • Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to ensure smooth customer onboarding and system integration.

Requirements:

  • Passion for the renewable energy industry and sustainability.
  • Knowledge and experience with Linux systems administration, networking, and firewalls.
  • Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to work both independently and collaboratively.
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills.
  • Comfortable in customer-facing interactions and technical discussions.
  • Available to work in the Eastern Standard Time (EST) zone.

Compensation:

  • The Salary range offered for this position varies from (USD) $2,000 - $2,500 per month, depending on seniority and skillset.
  • This position is for an independent contractor, through a payroll platform.
  • The talent will work REMOTELY allocated at our client.
