  • Rapid prototyping of new concepts on CPU and/or GPUs for collaboration and evaluation with customers.
  • Develop simulation and emulation models (MATLAB, Python, C/C++) to assess physical layer and system-level performance.

Pre-Requisites / Skills / Experience Requirements:

Education:

  • Master’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Telecommunications, or related field.

Technical Expertise:

  • Strong foundation in wireless communication theory (OFDM, MIMO, beamforming, channel modeling, coding, and PHY/MAC design).
  • Good knowledge of channel modeling, particularly with a focus on ray-tracing techniques and AI/ML technologies.
  • Experience with MATLAB, Python, or CUDA C++, and containers (Docker, Podman).
  • Hands-on skills in prototyping on wireless communication systems.
  • Familiarity with 5G NR architecture and emerging 6G concepts such as AI-native RAN, ISAC, or non-terrestrial networks (NTN).

Soft Skills:

  • Strong analytical thinking and creative problem-solving ability.
  • Eager to take on new challenges with support from others.
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills in a global, cross-functional environment.
  • Self-driven and curious about emerging technologies in wireless systems.

Preferred Qualifications
  • Familiarity with AI/ML-assisted communication systems or sensing-integrated radio.
  • Understanding of test & measurement principles or wireless performance evaluation is advantageous.
  • Prior collaboration with standards bodies (3GPP RAN, ITU-R) or participation in 6G research consortia is a plus.
