The summer internship program is a full-time commitment of 12 weeks and offers a unique perspective into a world-class pharmaceutical company. Our internship program provides you with the opportunity to network with people at Takeda through various planned events and activities.
The hybrid-based summer intern will play a key role in supporting the operational strategy of the Global Clinical Supply Chain Planning group by assisting with daily activities and contributing to cross-functional projects. Working under the guidance of the GCSC Planning Lead, the intern will engage with the GCSC Planning team to align efforts in support of supply and demand optimization.
How you will contribute:
The intern will take on a combination of routine departmental tasks and developmental assignments, gaining hands-on experience with operational planning, process management, and the tracking and reporting of business objectives. Through these responsibilities, the intern will develop essential skills and build professional relationships, all while receiving mentorship and guidance to foster both personal and career growth.
Requirements / Qualifications:
Candidate should be pursuing a Bachelor's Degree preferably in a scientific, business or supply chain related major
This position will be Hybrid out of the Cambridge, MA office
Exceptional interpersonal, verbal communication and writing skills.
Deadline-driven with an elevated level of organizational and planning skills.
Strong quantitative, analytical, problem solving and conceptual skills.
Proven record of accomplishment of teamwork, adaptability, innovation, initiative, and integrity.
Global mindset to grow in a diverse work environment.
Proficient in MS Office Suite.
Ability to work well in teams, effectively manage multiple projects, and present ideas clearly and concisely.

Internship Eligibility
Must be authorized to work in the U.S. on a permanent basis without requiring sponsorship
Must be currently enrolled in a degree program graduating December 2026 or later
The internship program is 10-12 weeks depending on the two start dates (May 26th-August 14th or June 15th- August 21st)
The intern must be able to commit to one of these time frames
Able to work full time 40 hours a week during internship dates
Takeda does not provide a housing stipend or relocation support for the U.S Summer Internship Program

Boston, MAU.S. Hourly Wage Range:
$21.00 - $46.00
The estimated hourly range reflects an anticipated range for this position. The actual hourly wage offered will depend on the candidate’s school year/level to be entered following completion of internship. The actual hourly wage offered will be in accordance with state or local minimum wage requirements for the job location.
U.S. internship benefits vary by location and may include:
