We are looking for candidates to join our State Street Markets (SSM)12-month internship program. This internship is a full-time career opportunity that is key to our commitment to develop diverse and junior talent and is designed to provide strategic and comprehensive training across GlobalLink, our foreign exchange electronic trading business. This dynamic 12-month internship will directly work with and support the GlobalLink EMEA Chief Operating Officer and GlobalLink Regulatory and Governance manager so that they have the necessary bandwidth to achieve their business goals.

Program dates: 22nd June 2026 – 21st June 2027
You must be available to participate in the program in person, starting from day one and for its full duration and you are required to work from the office 4 days a week.
In this role, you will perform the following day-to-day activities
Engage with senior stakeholders to produce papers, business updates and meeting minutes for key senior management Committees and Working Groups.
Support the coordination of the annual FX Connect MTF RTS 7 Self-Assessment and annual FX Connect MTF Client Eligibility Questionnaire campaign.
Support the on-going regulatory compliance of FX Connect MTF via pre and post trade control reviews, procedure reviews and COO management reporting.
Independently plan, research and support ad-hoc projects within GlobalLink EMEA COO, Sales, Liquidity Management and Trade Operations teams.
Perform ad-hoc reporting, tactical analysis and other duties as needed.

Education & Preferred Qualifications
A minimum 2.1 honours degree or equivalent (predicted)
An undergraduate degree, other relevant qualifications (e.g. CFA) or significant work experience
Strong Microsoft Office Suite skills
Knowledge of the Financial Services sector and associate products and services
To apply you must be an undergraduate who is eligible to work in the UK and able to start your placement in early June 2026 and remain in the position for 12 months. You must be intending to return to university to finish your degree after the placement.
