Responsibilities:
Manage patient health issues, independently or in collaboration with designated physicians.
Provide comprehensive health assessments, determine diagnoses, implement treatment plans, prescribe medical treatments, and manage health issues for patients in collaboration with the designated physician(s).
Work autonomously and in collaboration with a variety of medical professionals and individuals.
Extend the patient care and administrative services of the University of Arkansas for Medical Sciences physicians in both inpatient and outpatient settings.
Supervise their assigned group with duties that include but are not limited to: conducting annual evaluations, approving final schedules, participating in disciplinary issues, and collaborating with service line physicians and nursing administration to best allocate APRN resources.
Work autonomously, as well as in collaboration with a variety of individuals to diagnose and manage patients' health care problems, and will serve as a health care resource, interdisciplinary consultant, and patient advocate.
Coordinate the multidisciplinary care of patients, facilitating all necessary consults, assuring that care is timely and appropriate.
